Al Nasr Palace is an interconnected mixed-use development situated at Al Nasr Sports Club. The project is designed in a modernized Mediterranean style, using minimalist modern language regarding the façade framing. This minimalism is countered with pergolas, ornate handrails, detailed roofs. The framing on the façade creates the balcony spaces. Retail lines the entirety of the ground level, actively servicing the residents. The project takes on a very playful geometry regarding the façade lines, as it forms a semi-enclosed rectangle in its plan. The façade appears as a series of rectangular pyramid-like stacks of balconies, protruding past the base elevation, and gives an exciting visual dynamic. This dynamic is further reinforced by the stepping terraces that occur at one end of the building, providing more uninterrupted view space for the project. This cohesion of forms in its variety gives this project its commend-ability.
