RELIGIOUS

Places of worship have been a foundation of architectural expression from the earliest years of human civilization. These spaces are a fundamental part of architectural programming in specific regions, the UAE included. It is innate within DAR to assure care and desire to contribute to the religious and cultural heritages of its home, as well as add to the different ways people find peace within these sacred dwellings. Through thorough studies particularly in mosques, DAR is capable of providing all the necessary elements to assure spatially positive experiences for users from the exterior to the interior. Although traditional aesthetics are exhibited in the projects, DAR can expand the visual interpretation of such spaces in a contemporary way. The most noteworthy project DAR has completed in this sector is the Khalil Al Salem Mosque, completed in 2011.
