Medeor Hospital was a definition of solution-finding strategies for DAR. Initially midway constructed as a residential building, the client came to DAR seeking the project’s conversion to a boutique hospital. DAR took on the unique challenge, designing and developing additional structure and executed a hospital that meets all the necessary facility requirements. Due to the surrounding area, site, and project category constraints, the façade design was limited and took a more visually-pragmatic approach. Despite the scale of the project, this project proved to be one of the most challenging regarding structural and mechanical engineering, as well as challenges in authority approvals for DAR.
