Al Quraishi Tower

Status: Proposal, October, 2007 | Built Up Area: 400,000 ft²
Market Sector: Office & Corporate | Keywords: Business, Office, Waterfront

The Quraishi office tower is a fifteen-floor building situated in Business Bay with pragmatism at its forefront. The plan is divided into two parts, as can be seen by the façade of the tower. The first half is rectilinear, while the second half possesses a dynamic curved face. This curved face is designed strategically for its orientation to provide the maximum views of the creek side. Alternatively, the rectilinear side views the business bay neighborhood. The tower’s top floor houses a penthouse for the high management and owners of the building or offices and gives access to a broad shaded terrace overlooking views of Business Bay. Unlike many office towers, this project adds additional facilities for the users, including a fully equipped gym and shower area for users. The ground and podium levels of the tower maintain retail and restaurant areas, following suit with the surrounding area. The tower design is a distinct staple for the neighborhood and contributes to the ambitions for Business Bay be a corporate hub for the city.
