Situated in the Port Saeed area of Dubai is Majid Al Futtaim Headquarters. The building’s plan is an organic curvature footprint that extends upwards linearly. The plan interior-wise is quite open and flexible, with special consideration to provide a penthouse level for the executives of MAF. The building elevation and materials coherently match with the original MAF building, intentionally to maintain architectural brand consistency. The landscape is a satisfying continuity of the building footprint form, using elliptical shapes intersecting one another all throughout. This symbol is also used within the screens that shade the parking area. This consistency allows for total visual cohesion throughout the project. Majid Al Futtaim Headquarters is the second edition in their company headquarters and takes a step into the future with their less conventional design.
