The Jebel Ali Uptown Development would be a new city center development for the Jebal Ali district. The development takes up a vast area of land on the southern side of Dubai, with the client’s wish to create a city within a city. The project is divided into multiple zones consisting of residential buildings, residential villas, business zones, and leisure facilities that include a golf course. The central concept is to create a work, live, play lifestyle for inhabitants. It consists of a city center and iconic central towers surrounded by high and midrise towers. The project only reached the conceptual stages due to the financial conditions of the period it was created. The project is a couple of plot-developments away from the Jebel Ali Palm development.
