In a long-term vision to fulfill the utmost potential of the Deira of Dubai, the Deira Waterfront Development is blossoming. The project seeks to activate the waterfront edge and tie the culturally and traditionally dense area back to the origin trading atmosphere and roots of Dubai. From waterfront residential apartments overlooking The Creek, to an extension of the Deira Souk, the development will create a bustling hub of life that will add to the already rich tapestry woven by communities past and present. Using color schemes common to the surrounding area, the design is of a more contemporary nature, without being overtly detracting to the urban fabric of the area. DAR has provided services in the structural and supervision aspects of the project.
