Designed in the likeness of the seaside, high-rise neighborhood of Jumeirah Beach Residences, Ocean View hotel provides the luxury and splendor of a gulf coastal hotel. Seamlessly blending into the JBR environment with its design massing, material choices, and height, the project takes on a simple, chamfered L-shape format. The exterior façade has all the hotel windows facing the sea, with one façade using angled balconies to direct the view of hotel users to the shoreline scene. The views not only take full advantage of the JBR coastline but give direct views to the Dubai Eye. DAR’s primary role was concentrated to handling the supervision of construction for this project, while other consultants created the original concept design.
